Adebayo Ajibade, M.Ed., LMLP

 

Adebayo (Bayo) Ajibade is currently completing his doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Louisville. He received his master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville in 2016 and is a Licensed Master Level Psychologist in the state of Kansas. Bayo has received training in psychotherapy and psychological/neuropsychological assessment in diverse treatment settings in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. He trained in assessments with individuals with developmental and intellectual disorders at Cedar Lake Lodge. He worked and received training in neurodevelopmental and psycho-diagnostic assessments in a private practice in Suburban Louisville. He has also worked with the Cardinal Success Program mental health clinics at Shawnee Academy with students, and the community mental health clinic at the Nia Center with adults. Bayo received further training in individual psychotherapy at Indiana University Southeast counseling center and Bellarmine university counseling center. He has trained in individual/group psychotherapy and neurological assessment at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women. He has also received clinical supervision in psychological evaluation, assessment, and individual/group psychotherapy within an inpatient psychiatric hospital in the Louisville area. Bayo's clinical interests include psychotherapy and assessment with adults, adolescents, and children. He particularly enjoys therapy related to personality disorders, identity development and neurodevelopmental and personality assessment. Bayo lightheartedly refers to himself as a reformed musician. In his free time, Bayo enjoys listening to and playing music. He has toured the United States and Europe performing with several groups and worked as a percussion educator throughout his undergraduate education in his native Texas.
