Caitlin Custer, MS, LCP

Caitlin is a Licensed Masters Level Psychologist. Graduating in 2014 with a Master of Science in Clinical psychology, Caitlin has six years’ experience, serving a diverse patient population. Caitlin has experience conducting psychological evaluations for treatment planning and diagnostic clarification, including psychological testing with both adults and children. She is also well versed in conducting psychosexual evaluations and competency evaluations.

Passionate about working with clients who have a history of incarceration, Caitlin is knowledgeable about the impact that incarceration and reintegration can have on mental health. Always cognizant of the systemic barriers clients experience upon release from incarceration, Caitlin aims to provide a supportive environment for processing and problem solving life outside of incarceration.

Caitlin also specializes in working with clients with problematic sexual behaviors, and is experienced in providing targeted sexual offense specific services. In addition, Caitlin enjoys working with teenagers struggling with depression and anxiety. While Caitlin is skilled in crisis intervention, her interests lie in providing an ongoing space for clients to process and manage their symptoms.

Establishing an authentic therapeutic relationship is vital, as healing occurs within an environment of genuine connection, where authenticity and comfortability are at the forefront of the therapy process. Caitlin is passionate about the importance of developing the therapeutic connection in order to aid in the process of exploring a deeper understanding of the self and one’s struggles. Working from an emotion focused and cognitive behavioral approach, all that is asked of you is that you remain present and curious about yourself.
