James McMillian, LCPC
James McMillian is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in KS and MO, National Certified Counselor, and a member of the American Counseling Association. He graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2013 with his Masters of Arts in Counseling with a marriage, couples, and family therapy focus. Additionally, James served as the president of Delta Eta Epsilon chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the National Honors Society for counselors, from 2012 to 2014. James is certified to give the Prepare/Enrich pre-marriage assessment to couples and to conduct Prepare/Enrich pre-marriage counseling sessions. He completed his graduate internship work at Solace House focusing on Grief Counseling. James has given several presentations to the community about how caregivers can help children work through the grieving process, to the Kansas Counseling Association about sex therapy, and to the Olathe Police Department about stress reduction and peer support. In addition to his work at Resolve, James is the Program Director for Signature Behavioral Healthcare and an Adjunct Instructor at MidAmerica Nazarene University.
