Niwa Babayemi, PhD

Niwa recently completed his Doctoral work in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kansas. He brings several years of experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations as well as formal clinical therapy. His formal training includes psychological assessments, individual and group-focused therapy, sports psychology, and I/O psychology. Niwa has worked in various settings including counseling centers, within a regional medical school, private practice, with college athletes at a nationally ranked institution, and most recently, assisting small and large businesses in a consultant capacity. Aside from his formal clinical experience, Niwa has interest researching factors unique to the lived experience of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) individuals and TCKs (Third Culture Kids). Niwa spends his free time building computers and moonlighting as a Voice Over artist. Niwa is a proud husband and girl-dad.
