Rachel Thomas, LMSW

Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She obtained her graduate degree in Social Work and her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Wichita State University. Rachel has experience in the juvenile justice system, integrated healthcare, and community mental health center settings. She is passionate about providing a safe, supportive, inclusive space for all individuals and works to create a judgement free atmosphere to assist with the healing process. She is a strengths-based, client-centered therapist who believes everyone can grow and heal. Rachel has experience assisting adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar, and schizophrenia utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs while developing healthy coping skills. She also believes there is not a universal approach to therapy and will tailor support to specific client needs.
