Alexandria Kaplan, LMLP-T

Ali is a licensed Masters Level Clinical Psychologist completing her supervision hours in the state of Kansas. Psychological testing is a benchmark of her practice – offering insight into a client’s specific strengths to adapt, and weaknesses to support.

Ali utilizes a humanistic approach that incorporates aspects of CBT, DBT, art therapy and other evidence-based treatments to help clients identify new insights and understanding of their troubles. Gatsby, her medical alert service dog has shown a knack for therapy work. He is trained in Deep Pressure therapy, and eager to provide comfort in difficult sessions.

Ali was an adjunct professor for 16 years at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena before returning to school to become a psychologist. She has a particular interest in Autism and ADHD throughout the lifespan and how to best support these conditions through psychoeducation, understanding and identity building practices. Her research and writing focus on advocacy within the Autistic and ADHD community.
