Cassandra Thompson, LMLP, LAC
Cassandra Thompson is a Licensed Masters Level Psychotherapist and Licensed Addictions Counselor. She received both her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Washburn University. Cassandra enjoys working with adults and adolescents with both mood and personality disorders and specializes in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder as well as helping women establish healthy boundaries and foster improved self-esteem. Other areas of experience include working with those struggling with anxiety disorders, sexual dysregulation or healthy sexuality as well as fostering healthy communication patterns.
She has received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Sex Offender Risk and Assessment and Treatment and Competency Evaluations. Cassandra also spent 4 years at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex working with incarcerated youth and continues to conduct evaluations and provide treatment for adolescents in the community. Cassandra also spends her time teaching Introductory Psychology courses at Allen County Community College where she has taught for the last four years.
