Katie Stillwell, LPC
Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She earned her Masters in School Counseling from Emporia State University and undergraduate in Business Communication from Ottawa University. In addition to her counseling experience, Katie has over 15 years of management consulting experience working with a wide variety of clients in varying industries. Her diverse background makes her uniquely qualified to work with many populations on topics of executive coaching, career navigation, decision making, divorce, anxiety, stress, depression, conflict resolution, life transitions, loss/grief, and family matters. Representative Population experience includes: executives, business professionals, individuals, families, adolescents, and children.
Katie has worked therapeutically with people as young as 5 years old to C-level executives and their teams. Katie is trained to conduct individual, group, and family therapy. She has led children’s groups on topics of divorce, military separation, stress, worry/anxiety, social skills, and grief/loss. Depending on each client’s specific situation, Katie will draw on the therapeutic approach that best fits the client and his or her needs. Some of these approaches are: cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, Adlerian therapy, reality therapy, family / systems therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy
