Kim Kosmala, LCP

Kim Kosmala is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist.  She received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology in 2006 from Washburn University.  Kim has worked with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, juvenile offenders, and adult offenders of sexual and domestic violence.   Kim began working as the Clinical Supervisor for the state’s Northern Region Community Based Sex Offender Treatment Program in 2012 and the Community-Based Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment Program in 2016.  Kim served on the state’s Multidisciplinary Team, responsible for evaluating potential sexually violent predators, from June 2009-August 2013.

She is a Clinical Member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).  Kim has received specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Sex Offender Risk and Assessment and Treatment, Psychopathy Evaluations, and Competency Evaluations.  She currently works with clients in the adult and juvenile sex offender treatment programs and in private practice providing evaluations and psychotherapy.
